Lab 1 on SELECTION~

first time open photoshop.. : )

it has a simple look~

but still complex a bit compare to paint..

i just use paint before~XD

so at first i thought i can handle it~

but after tutorial started~

my friend and i were just panic and don't know how to react when madam lydia teach the steps~

we keep listen and do it~

just hope didn't click wrong any button and step..

after the tutorial end..

i think i get the basic of photoshop~

so now~

i'm going to use photoshop on my e-wallpaper~

topic for the wallpaper is FOM Open Day~

first~

i choose few pictures and logos for MMU FOM open day..

Ebee..Fom building..and others~

first..

open a new file in photoshop~

blank page..A4 size..

then..

restore down it..

for us open other picture file easier~

i open all image file..

minimize all other image..

so images were hide in the bottom of photoshop..

after that..i use move tool to drag and drop the fom building into the blank page..

after i drag and drop the image..the building is too small in the page..

so..

i press ctrl + t ..there will be a black border line with some small boxes surrounding the image..

ctrl + t is called free transform..it is used to enlarge the image or make the image smaller in size..

after the border line and boxes shown..i press shift + mouse left click to resize the image accordingly..

other image like Ebee..i use same method to drag into the page n resize the images..

i maximize the page back to normal window size..and i resize and arrange all the images..

madam lydia taught us on how to change the layer's name for our own convenience in the future..

i double click on the layer name like below..

then change the name..

after that i use magic wand tool~one of the selection tool..

i press on the eye beside the layer..

for all layer except for mmu logo..

and then using magic wand tool..

i click on the M letter 1st..

this tool need to used slowly slowly~

 at the end..

i finish make the whole logo with dotted line surrounding them~

after that i use move tool to move the word and logo to another place..

left the white background behind..

and for the white background..i delete it by using rectangular marquee tool follow by pressing the delete button..

same to this FOM board~

magic wand tool followed by move tool..

after doing such procedure for ebees and other images

this is my first tutorial on selection of mmu fom open day..

i had save the tutorial 1 in psd file and jpg file..

after i finish this selection on mmu fom open day..

i'm think i can use photoshop in basic way..
like magic wand tool..move tool..
i hope to edit picture in many ways soon~XD
